Hey there cool car people, many of you have asked about this month’s Riverside Cars & Coffee meet so we wanted to share the latest. Right after our last get-together the County of Riverside had to roll back to the PURPLE Risk Level due to the increasing number of Covid-19 cases being reported again. At this level mass gatherings are prohibited and our meets definitely qualify as mass gatherings. We know everyone is jonesing for a get-together and no one more than us but at this time we cannot encourage a meet up for this Sunday.
We know that we are all adults and we really have no power to keep anyone from parking on a public street however we are going to respect our host and request that no one gathers in groups at the speed center, we appreciate them allowing us to use their parking lot and never want to bring any negative to them. Some of you may choose to head down to the auto center Sunday anyway and if you do we ask that you please, PLEASE mask up and don’t get together in groups. In the past months when we have had to call off the event we have received some pretty nasty messages and been called some uncool things but we will do the right thing no matter what your personal beliefs about the situations in the world. Please remember that we started this as a way to get together with some cool people and check out cool cars over three years ago and have worked hard to keep it the most family-friendly and open event in the Inland Empire and we look forward to picking up where we left off again as soon as things cool off enough for it to be safe for our wonderful community of car people. We hope to see everyone again in December and will keep you posted! Stay safe everyone 😊
