We had an old iPhone lying around and thought it would be great to charge it up, set it on top of the J&M Speed Center sign, and hit record so we could catch some of the awesome hot rods and wicked cool cars that roll in to join us at Riverside Cars & Coffee! We were able to get nearly an hour and a half recorded and there are some seriously amazing rides rollin in! Enjoy a morning at Riverside Cars & Coffee!

Huge thanks to those who help make our get together possible: Host - The Legendary J & M Speed Center! Apparel creations by Alley Cat Coffee Sponsors - Starbucks (9864) Mt Vernon October 18th, Riverside Cars & Coffee is on!
Heads Up Car Peeps! As we see a light up ahead and things look like we may be able to get together next month we are gearing up for a Halloween Spooktacular at Riverside Cars & Coffee! We've ALL been waiting anxiously to get together for an awesome morning of hot rods and cool cars, let’s make it the best ever on October 18th! As always the lot opens for parking at 7:00 and the meet up is from 8:00-10:00, coffee will be served by some of our way cool volunteers and we really, REALLY encourage social distancing and request everyone PLEASE wear masks! Rules For Cool Humans Welcome back to Riverside Cars & Coffee! Since most of us have been forced to hunker down for months, we thought this would be a good time for a cool human refresher. 1. Love the Cars, Respect the Owners We've created an awesome atmosphere of appreciation and inclusion. We positively welcome all kinds of cars and all walks of car people. Embrace it. Enjoy it. Protect it. 2. Park like a Cool Human. True. Cool car shows attract a lot of cool cars. Parking can seem scarce sometimes. No worries. There are plenty of spots for all. Cruise around, find a spot, park like a cool human, and leave enough space for other cool humans in other cool cars. 3. Cool Humans Get Hot Coffee Of course we're serving coffee! The keyword there is serving. A cool volunteer will man (or woman) the coffee table and personally hand you your own steaming cup. If you bring your own cool coffee mug? No sweat. Take the cup you're served and fill your own mug up to the brim with it. 4. Guard Against the Cooties. We know. Coronavirus is a drag (and not the cool kind). Since we're not medically qualified to call it bunk, please keep a safe (6 foot) distance from other cool humans. Don't clump up in groups. Spread your coolness o-u-t. And please wear the toughest face mask you can muster. It's okay to call us overly cautious. We just want to keep our cool humans safe and healthy. With a little caution and cooperation, we hope we'll be eliminating this rule in no time. 5. Always Keep It Cool On The Road. In the three years of RIverside Cars & Coffee we have never had an accident or anyone injured by a vehicle and we HAVE to keep it that way! We love fast cars as much as anyone but we will happily take your word for how fast you can drive, you do not need to show us! DRIVE WITH CAUTION ALWAYS! 6. It's Cool to Be a Rebel Except when it comes to breaking the Rules for Cool Humans REMINDER: No Riverside Cars & Coffee this month. We know it sucks believe us! Remember that we started Riverside Cars & Coffee three years ago because our passion is hot rods, cool cars, and wicked awesome car people and we miss everyone very much but we gotta do this right. We are hoping for a September get together and will keep you posted we promise! Stays safe and take care, everyone!
Since the county has again (strongly) recommended the suspension of gatherings of more than 10 people, sadly we have to suspend Riverside Cars & Coffee until further notice. We know, we know....
We don't want to jerk you around about when we might be able to resume the festivities but we just can't make promises based on conditions we don't control. So, keep your eyes on our website, your email inboxes, and the socials for the eventual happy announcement that we're getting together again for Riverside Cars & Coffee. Out of respect for our hosts we sincerely ask that you do not gather or congregate at our location however please do continue to shop local and support everyone's favorite speed shop J & M Speed Center for all your high-performance needs and get your car culture apparel from Alley Cat So Cal! It is with a heavy heart that we must announce that June’s meet will be postponed to July. We were very much hoping to get together this weekend but recent news and increased safety precautions have made serving coffee and donuts not possible and the number of people that regularly show up for Riverside Cars & Coffee is always more than the number allowed at this time. As things opened up we anticipated the easing up of restrictions that would allow us to get-together and the events of the last few days have taken us by surprise, however, we need to do our part to try and ensure the safety of our car folks community. We do sincerely apologize for getting everyone excited about getting together and then disappointing you by pushing it to July, we are even more disappointed but want to make sure we are able to hold our meets in the future without issue so the difficult decision had to be made. We look forward to seeing everyone on July 19th, and wish all of you dads a very happy Father’s Day!
Stay safe and come join us in July, Heads up Riverside and Inland Empire hot rodders and cool car peeps, Riverside Cars & Coffee is back baby!! Like you all, we have been anxiously watching announcements from our city officials and it looks like we will be able to get together again in a few weeks! We are making adjustments to ensure we are doing everything we can to look out for our guest's safety, like having a team of cool cats on hand to hand out coffee and donuts and will be making more announcements soon. For now, get ready to head back to the historic Riverside Auto Center and join s for a kick-ass morning of hot coffee and cool cars on June 21st! Parking lot opens for parking at 7:00 am and the meet is from 8:00 until 10:00
The way cool crew of Hey Riverside invited our man Mike the CarGuy to be a guest on their podcast this week and it was awesome!! They talked about the So Cal car scene, heavy metal, Riverside's automotive history, and of course our show! You can check it out at the link, and for all that's happening in Riverside make sure you follow them on Facebook, on Twitter or Instagram!
While California struggles with the continued threat of Covid-19 we want to do our part to ensure the health and safety of all of our awesome supporters and keep everyone home one more month. Until we get the full all-clear we are hosting another virtual get together on our Facebook page.
The guy that started our show, Mike theCarGuy, turns 51 in a couple weeks and he has been having some serious car meet withdrawals and the only cure is hot rods and cool cars! It looks like we will have to wait until June before we can fill the historic Riverside Auto Center with cool cars and car peeps so lets see how many pics we can fill this event with and chase those quarantine blues away! We will even have some cool prizes like: Farthest away attendee - $10 Starbucks card Best of show (most likes) - $10 Starbucks card More to be announced soon! Spread the word and lets make Riverside Cars & Quarantine II as awesome as our beloved Riverside Cars & Coffee is in real life!! ❤️ Post pics HERE! We couldnt get together IRL so we hosted a virtual Riverside Cars & Coffee! Our virtual car meet wasn't as great as getting together in person we know but it did help us satisfy our need for seeing some wicked awesome rides at least for a little bit! We hope the dust settles soon enough for us to do our thing out in the real world next month but if it still isn't safe you know we will do it again here! Stay safe and keep roddin everyone! |
